Review the Open Positions

Team positions are as varied as there are personalities.  So identifying which positions you tend to gravitate toward is a critical step.  We want to find a great fit for you, which begins with you selecting a few interesting options.

To review our list of open positions, please visit our Open Positions page.

Let us Know!

Please take a minute to fill out our New Team Member form and let us know in which team positions your interested, as well as any additional skills and training you have.  One of our team members will reach out to you shortly.

Try It Out

If you think that Big C Outreach might be for you, try serving and see what you think.

When you’re ready, click the button above and fill out the form.  We will reach out and direct you to a separate website designed to streamline team communication.  There you will find all of our serving opportunities and special events.  Find an position that hasn’t been filled, sign up, and try it out.  You won’t know if it fits you until you experience it first hand.

Consider Your Spiritual Gifts

You might be new to this concept.  But we believe that God intentionally made you they way he did.  You are equipped to serve in a way that’s uniquely designed for you.  Your gifting isn’t by chance.  It’s not a mistake.

To learn more about spiritual gifts, we encourage you to read 1
Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4:11-13, and Romans 12:6-8.  And feel free to
reach out to us with questions.

In addition, you can take a spiritual gifts test at https://www.freeshapetest.com/.  It will ask you for your pastor’s email.  Don’t worry about that part.  It’s more important that you know how God has built you.  And this is a great resource to help you figure it out.

Make Adjustments

We never want you to feel stuck, and you may not find the perfect spot the first time.  You are always empowered to step away from any volunteer position.  Maybe you want to try something different.  Or maybe you need to step away from serving all together.

Whatever the case, you are never obligated to “fulfill your duty.”  What a miserable way to serve!  Come and go as God directs you.  He knows best.
